New publication: Article on Media, Culture & Society

The article Situating #MeToo: a comparative analysis of the movement in Catalonia and Portugal, authored by Marta Roqueta-Fernàndez (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya) and Sofia P. Caldeira, has been published in the journal Media, Culture & Society.

Sofia P. Caldeira was the invited commenter on a webinar organised by CIES (ISCTE), commenting on the work “Me Too Activism without the #MeToo Hashtag: Online debates over entertainment celebrities’ sex scandals in China” presented by Eva Liu (University of Ohio).

New publication: Rotas Para a Investigação em Comunicação

Following the talk at SOPCOM’s Summer School 2022, Sofia P. Caldeira has published a contribution on the new book Rotas Para a Investigação em Comunicação. The book (in Portuguese) offers a series of brief texts that introduce the Portuguese academic ecosystem and shares insights for early career researchers.

Round Table on Scientific Funding and Employment

Sofia P. Caldeira is one of the invited speakers on the round table on Scientific Funding and Employment, at SOPCOM’s Summer School 2022. The school will take place both at Universidade Lusófona do Porto and Online, between the 5th and 7th of September 2022.
